We are directly linked with 22 cooperatives and almost more than 70 individual farmers for seed production which accounts more than 600 farming Household. The company has strong backward linkage with seed producer farmer groups and cooperatives for seed production. Farmers receive a 10%-30% higher price for seed than market price of paddy, wheat, maize, lentil, legumes, oilseed and vegetables depending upon the seed category and its quality.
GATE Nepal is a foundation seed production license holder seed
company. GATE Nepal is producing Foundation, Certified and
Improved seeds of Cereals, Legumes, Oilseed, Grass seed and
various vegetable seeds. GATE purchase Breeder seeds from NARC
centers as required for the production of Foundation Seed and GATE
Nepal is maintaining source seed through Certification System and
Truthful Label System and supply these seeds to farmers for seed
production.
